Couture Hair Extensions

I have been doing the same thing to my hair for 6 years. Extensions and highlights. I never would have imagined the experience I had today. It was the best Salon experience of my life. They are classy, highly experienced, highly engaged. I have never been so happy with my hair. They have a customer for life. Worth every penny. Excited to see what my next extensions will look like since they’re going to be custom made. If I could give 5 more stars I would. Excellent experience! Highly recommend them to anyone.

Extension experts are hard to find, but they exist! 🙌🏼🙌🏼 First time in since three stylists ago that I feel like I am in the hands of someone who knows what they are doing. No guesswork involved. The most seamless hair color/extension experience I have ever had. Angelo David has super a relaxing vibe, amazingly well-versed stylists, and expert care all the way around. If you feel like you’ve had issues in the past with color or extension install, go to this place! They are the kind of knowledgeable that takes all your worries away. I was so upset after I had my hair done by Fine Artistik Salon (read that review for the full experience, yikes) and my stylist(s) at Angelo David completely reversed his mistakes and made everything perfect. Found my new hair home!

Best place in Manhattan to get extensions and color. Rita has been coloring and taking care of my hair since 2017 and it has never been longer and healthier. I love being blonde even though my natural hair is very dark and Rita makes sure that happens and my hair stays healthy! For extra length I use Angelo David’s extensions and their quality is unmatched! I actually had to point out to people I have extensions…that’s how well they blend in!! 100% satisfied of the quality and the service!!

By far the most amazing salon in NYC! Angelo, Carlos and the entire staff are caring and professional. I started going to them 10 years ago when my daughter who has alopecia needed a wig and we wanted something quality and natural. ( she was 21). Angelo and his staff could not have been more accommodating or caring! Fast forward ( we’ve been with them since for her hair pieces) I was diagnosed with cancer and had to go thru chemo… again, the most amazing, caring and professional treatment! My 17 year old daughter suffers with Lupus and has had ongoing hairloss for 4 years. We tried so many supplements and treatments, none of which yielded adequate results. Now she is a senior and has to have her yearbook picture taken. We explored hair extension options, found Angelo David Salon through a web search, and chose to consult with them based on reviews. The whole staff is so sweet and professional! When we met Angelo we knew exactly why! He is such a down to earth, kind hearted gentlemen. He spent time with us, answered all of our questions patiently and explained the benefits of each choice. He color matched my daughter's hair and we came back for her tape in hair extension application. Lupé performed the service and was so sweet and worked so quickly. At each stage Angelo came over to make sure everything was going well and as expected. He then trimmed the extensions, making sure they blended with my daughter's hair, and then Lupé styled her hair. It may sound dramatic, but I was crying as my little girl was transformed back into the girl she was before she got sick. Now the yearbook photo that will hang on my wall forever will be a healthy looking young woman and not a traumatized girl. Since we left the salon my daughter has been smiling and saying she can't believe she once has this much hair, because it has been so long since she did. My only regret is that I didn't do this sooner. I can't recommend Angelo and his salon more. If 500 stars was an option I would choose it. ❤

I first went to Angelo David Salon the week before my wedding when my long time stylist, colorist and hair extension specialist had to cancel due to a family emergency. So i was desperate and needed a cut, color and hair extensions very last minute. Having worked in beauty PR, specifically with celebrity hair stylists and top salons in NY & LA, I tend to have very high expectations and had heard his name. The team at Angelo David Salon could not have been more professional, accommodating, personable and most importantly sympathetic to my particular situation. That very day they moved schedules around to fit me in for highlights and to match my color for hair extensions. Usually you have to order the hair at least 2 weeks ahead of time but bc of my wedding less than a week away they pulled strings, moved schedules around, etc in order to get the right extensions for me the very next day! Angelo himself personally matched my color, rushed the extensions and not only oversaw all my services but cleared time in his obviously demanding schedule to cut my hair himself. The results were simply stunning… i got compliments and questions everywhere i went. I could not be more thankful for all Angelo and his team did for me… a brand new client they never met before and had no relationship with. My hair could not have been more perfect. I’m forever grateful and would highly recommend them. It was obvious in my results and talking to Angelo his knowledge, talent and expertise is on a level with the very top stylists/ salons - especially hair extensions, wigs, thinning hair, etc.

I recently had the pleasure of getting a haircut at Angelo David Salon, and I honestly cannot say enough good things about the experience. For someone who avoids frequent haircuts, in light of a few unfortunate trims elsewhere, I have never felt more comfortable in a salon than I did at Angelo David! Situated on Madison and 48th street, this location has earned praise for color services, couture hair extensions, toppers, and wigs.

At first glance, I was impressed by the universal level of professionalism amongst the staff and the glamorous appearance of the space itself. My hairstylist put any initial anxieties to rest with her kind demeanor, attentive listening, and helpful ideas. Per her suggestion, she cut clean long layers to preserve the illusion of length and sharp angles to frame and mature my face. In one appointment, she transformed my hair from feeling heavy and dead to voluminous and healthy; I could not be happier! Not only was I thrilled with the results, but I was impressed with the quality of the service, specifically how friendly and considerate my consultant was.

The price was extremely fair compared to the typical cost of a haircut in Manhattan, and after seeing the professional “before-and-after” photos, it was worth every penny. Angelo David Salon is the only place I’ll ever go again for a monthly trim or a beach-wave blowout for my next big social event.

As a person who has never been happy with a haircut, I had a wonderful experience at Angelo David’s hair salon. The front desk greeted me warmly and offered me a drink while I waited for my hairstylist. You have a variety of options to choose from as Angelo David’s specializes in hair wigs and extensions. My hairstylist gave me a relaxing hair wash before she began to cut my hair. The haircut turned out beautiful and was styled effortlessly. All the workers were very professional and kind and the Angelo David’s salon had a wonderful ambience that I will be looking forward to experiencing again.

I went to Angelo David for color correction and extensions and I was so delighted to find that all of the staff and stylists were welcoming and friendly. Carlos walked me through the process during my consult and ensured all of my questions were answered. Casie was a dream with brightening my blonde hair. I got my fillers placed yesterday and couldn’t be happier with the result! Angelo did a fabulous job of perfectly matching my extensions to the color of my hair and highlights. I’ve had Tape in extensions before and they don’t compare to the quality and precision I received at Angelo David Salon. I’ve bounced around from salon to salon in manhattan for highlights and I’ve finally found something I’m happy with. Highly recommend Angelo David all around 🙂

My experience with Angelo David Salon goes back over 7 years ago and I’ve been hooked ever since! Quality service and everything you’re looking for in a salon is top notch! Their hair extensions are the absolute best extensions you’ll find out there. Angelo is a perfectionist and will pay close attention and detail to exactly what you want. Their hair stylists are all incredible in their own way. They have amazing hair products as well, with my personal favorite being their flex brush. Leaves your hair smooth and frizz free without pulling any out.

Angelo David works magic with hair. He is a perfectionist that makes anyone look like she/he is going to walk the "red carpet"! Yet he is honest, personable, intelligent without the airs of the typical hairdresser to the stars. His eyes are razor sharp and when he is working on you it's like nobody else exists at that moment but you! His staff is professional, attentive and highly organized. Everyone loves what they do and they can't do enough to make each client feel special. My experience at David Angelo Salon was amazing.
Based on reviews, I reached out and explained that my hair was over processed and broken off, particularly the hair framing my face. My hair has always been fine and now was fragile as well. I was frustrated and skeptical that anything could be done outside of getting a short haircut and starting over.
My first point of contact in the salon was Carlos who was caring, and explained several options based on the current state of my hair. It was suggested that couture filler extensions would be my best option combined with quality hair care products to heal the damage. I agreed and shortly met my hair care team. Casie began by color correcting hair, which was also in bad shape. The result was a natural, vibrant blonde that complemented my skin tone. Simultaneously, Angelo was at work creating perfectly color matched couture filler extensions for my hair. My next step was working with Joanna, whose application of the couture fillers was both artful and precise. The day was finished off with an expert cut by Angelo that seamlessly blended the couture fillers and my natural hair. The finished product was really unbelievable. My hair looked fantastic and you could not distinguish between the couture filler extensions and natural hair, resulting in a beautiful, healthy look. My expectations were far exceeded, and I am already looking forward to my next visit to the salon!

I have been going to Angelo’s salon now for almost 10 years and it has never once disappointed. Angelo has been the one cutting my hair and no matter what I ask him to do - he makes it looks absolutely stunning!!! He pays attention to every detail until it looks perfect. I cannot say enough about how absolutely amazing he is... and my colorist Rita has done such a fantastic job always getting my color just right. I switch my color pretty often between red and blonde and each time it looks perfect for my skin tone and what I wanted. I always get soooo many compliments after a trip to this salon.. I walk out feeling Amazing! I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting their hair to look just perfect after the first trip there. 😊

Angelo David Salon is a beautiful salon with excellent service. The staff are friendly and truly care about their clients needs. Before I came here my blonde hair was completely over-processed and fried from a previous salon I went to. Meaghan saved my hair! She always takes the time to talk with me about the health of my hair and gives great tips to help get my weak, brittle hair strong again!

Her passion for hair care shines through everything she does and she is extremely dedicated to her clients. I always love the color and highlights Meaghan does. She is the BEST!

I also use the Angelo David couture hair extensions to help give my hair thickness, length, and volume. It always looks AMAZING after Marc puts the hair extensions in for me! I highly recommend Angelo David Salon!

A full service salon with friendly and amazing people. Every person we encountered went above and beyond to provide a wonderful experience. (Even the coffee they serve is yummy!) Angelo is truly a kind hearted, generous, and talented gem of a man and artist. My mother, sisters, and I flew all the way to his Madison Ave. Salon from Hawaii due to the reviews we read about him. We had a variety of services performed (cuts, color, custom hair pieces, product purchases, etc.). Angelo and his staff and the overall salon experience far surpassed our expectations even after going to great lengths to get there. We would and will fly back from Hawaii to see them again and I highly recommend this salon. Loving my haircut by Meaghan too!

I have been a client at Angelo David for over 10 years. From my very first consultation with Carlos I felt the compassion and professionalism which is a mark at this salon. The new location is beautiful and convenient; the service is first rate.

The heart of the salon is Carlos, who is knowledgable and caring. Angelo is a multi talented hair professional, and Cricela has worked magic on my hair/extensions since 2004. I would never consider going anywhere else, both because of the high quality of the work, and also because of the kindness and empathy shown by everyone here.

If you are lucky enough to book with Cricela you will be veryn happy with the result. She is super attentive, and always makes sure that her client is happy before leaving her chair.
